What are they?
Twiddle Muffs are like a handwarmer with items like buttons, ribbon, beads, loops, and other items fixed to it.
What are they used for?
They provide sensory stimulation for people with restless hands (ie dementia, alzheimers, autism and calming people in distress)
What are they made from?
Any type, colour and size of yarn with decorations like; ribbons, beads, crochet flowers, buttons, loops, zippers, buckles, pompoms, pocket for a hankie (they must be securely attached, so they can not be pulled off)
How to make them?
Approx. size 7inches wide x 11 inches long
Don’t forget to sew in the ends!
PS.. don’t forget the guys may like different colours and accessories on theirs

Make sure accessories are not sharp or dangerous and they are sewn on securely.
Frustrated patients may use their TwiddleMuff aggressively. Please consider whether sewing on any metal objects could result in it being used as a weapon.
Bells... they may be great to play with, but please try not to use them as they may annoy others, when the twiddle muffs are being used.
Finished items can always be dropped off at a meetup or get in contact with us to make other arrangements.
