Let's make the Care Buddies about pocket-sized! 

That way, they'll be easier for kids to hold and more convenient for emergency centre staff to store  

•  All buddies must remain smoke and pet hair-free.
• To prevent pet hair, store your project and yarn in a sealed bag or box.
• After completing the buddy, keep it in a box or sealed bag.

• Stitch the face using yarn only (no plastic eyes, noses, buttons, etc.), and feel free to add the face either before or after stuffing the buddy.
• Use tight, even stitches to prevent stuffing from showing or leaking out.
• Consider using a smaller hook or needle size than recommended for the yarn to create a denser fabric. 
• Regularly check for gaps while working and adjust tension if needed. 

• Double-check that no pins or markers are left inside the buddy.
• Secure all yarn ends properly to prevent seams from unravelling.
• Avoid loose , long threads and small or detachable parts that could pose a choking hazard.
• Make sure all parts are securely stitched to withstand tugging and play (no buttons etc)

Can be drop off at any meetup or contact us via Facebook for a suitable drop off location.

 Collected items are checked for suitability before sending on to charitable organisations.
